U15's Latest News & Results

> The U15's beat Hayes Gate 6-4 at St Marks on Sunday. Fans will remember the first game of the season against an overly aggressive Hayes Gate where the Dragons lost 0-4. The tables were turned in this the last game of the season. Hayes are a team stuck in the dark ages of the 1970 & 1980's using totally unacceptable language egged on by their parents. The only way to retaliate was to beat them which the Dragons duly did.

> The U15's on Saturday drew 2-2 with Yeading Wanderers at St Marks. The Dragons had a slow start and found themselves 2-0 down at half time. The recent spate of games took its toll but the Dragons kept going and with 15 minutes to go scored. The game was on and 3 minutes from the end Yeading cruelly hacked down an innocent Dragon resulting in a penalty which was coolly slotted home to secure a draw.

> The U15's lost 2-6 on Tuesday at St Marks against St Andrews in a performance to forget. The Dragons went 2-0 down and then pulled back to 2-2 but with some awful defending and lack of pressure it was difficult to perform against the league leaders. Lack of match practice clearly showed at this abysmal result and performance not usually associated with the Dragon U15's

LAUNCH SLIDESHOW

Fulham were invited for another match against Fulham's Elite Squad at Stonebridge to prepare them for their tour.

The dragons also took the chance to have some players on trial for them. In the first quarter the dragons took time to settle in as the very fast Fulham players kept on top of our boys, FFC had a few chances to get close to the dragons goal but an ever present defence prevented them from scoring.

In the second quarter it was a different squad with mostly trialists and a mix of established dragons it seemed a more easy flowing game in favour of the dragons, a few quick moves and 2 touch passing made fulham take a step back and defend, it was an essex boy on trial who made it 1-0 after Michael Ourouho quick pass put him through to Lob the keeper from 30 yards.

In the 3rd quarter the dragons mixed the players again and carried on playing good football against a good passing and strong fulham side. Despite making loads of good passing and opening chances the game finished 1-0 to the dragons.

Other dates will come for new boys who did not take part.

Wealdstone 0 KDFC 4

> A game to forget and remember at the same time. A weakened dragons team missing our wingers took on a Wealdstone side looking to avenge a 4-3 lose 2 weeks ago.But a weak dragon is better then a Wealdstone team any day of the week.We started playing some awesome football from the first whistle, dominating the midfield and being just a strong organised team. With the new addition of Blu Prosner on the transfer window deadline gave us an extra strength at the back, the dragons played some amazing 2 touch football dropping on to 1 touch at different times.

It was the dragons persistence that paid off when man of the match Josh Cooper scored a magnificent goal after taking on 6 players and battling a further 2 outside the area to turn and put it on the top right corner. Soon after the dragons scored again when James Abella raced down the left wing to collect ball that seemed to go nowhere, he cut inside and slotted it into the bottom right corner. For 0-2 in the first half. In the second half the dragons were even better and battled it out to win, they were under orders not to drop their performance; 10min into the half Michael Ourouh took on 3 players to play a through ball to Josh for him to score.

Soon after Wealdstone were awarded a corner that they had been working on all through the last 3 weeks that failed, after some heated exchanges from manager an incident happened, which I am very very proud of my players for handling it like young adults.

The last goal was scored by Patrick Collas who had come on from Michael and playing unusually in the right wing he done well to convert for 0-4. A message from the manager-Despite incidents off the pitch I would like to thank and apologise for what my players witnessed, not from the dragons fault.

The way my players handled it and carried on to win was better then the win itself. Carry on being respectful and disciplined which is what we are all about.

>This was more about trials then the score.

The dragons had 5 boys on trials for us, with the dragons building on the assault to the premiership next year it was important to get new players to be seen. We were missing a few squad players due to injury and other commitments. It was an old face who stole the show, man of the match Josh Cooper’s hat trick whos persistence and finishing proved too much for AEW who were fielding three under16 players to cover some positions.

Other goals came from Douglas and a trialist and emmanuel sam whom scored from a corner a rarity in the dragons.

2 new boys showed they will be ready to kick off in a dragon’s shirt next season.

KDFC 6 Alpha & Omega 1

> After last weeks embarrassment the dragons regrouped, still with a weak team and missing players including goalkeepers, we went into the game fully knowing we had to pull out a good display to save us from being considered a loosing team, After some managerial chats and calls for commitment the dragons were up for this game.

We started off well, creating chances and attacking Omega at every possible mistake, we went close a couple of times and kept Omega in their own half. With the machines that are Emmanuel Sam and the rest of the squad we gave very little away. With 31 minutes the score was still 0-0 and omega had created some openings but shooting very wide and only after 33 minutes did the dragons break the deadlock when Douglas st Louis found some space on the left to put the dragons 1-0 up.

In the second half the dragons were full of confidence but Omega had other intentions, the dragons found that goalkeepers are important. After a mix the keeper failed to come out for a simple bal and the dragons conceded for 1-1. For the next 12 minutes the dragons remained under pressure as Omega attacked our goal but going wide on most shots, the dragons also had a few close shots just squeezing past the post.

But not long after were the dragons under pressure that they created the opening to put pressure on Omega, after some much created hard work Joshua Cooper parried home a loose ball in the area to make it 2-1, not long after he took on the Alpha Defence went down the goal line and from 10 yards managed to squeeze the ball into the far post for 3-1 the dragons were now in comfortable territory and omega were still trying to  push into our half, the dragons again pushed forward and managed the 4-1 when Douglas St Louis took a hard shot too hard for the keeper to be able to stop resulting in his injury and substitution, 5 minutes later Joshua Cooper completed his Hat-Trick when an Omega defender tried to head the ball back to the goalkeeper only for him to jump first and put it in the back of the net 5-1, a couple of minutes into added time Miles Spooner broke free from the right and with a sweet left shot made it 6-1.

Men of the match has to be divided this week, Joshua cooper had a great influence as so did Emmanuel Sam who was always strong playing a defensive midfield roll that created and broke many chances.

North Greenford FC 13 KDFC 2

> The U15's lost 13-2 away to North Greenford in an unusualy heavy defeat for the Dragons. A combination of half term, GCSE's revisions and marathons had reduced the Dragons to a pale shadow of their true selves. It was still however a very poor showing against a more attacking side who went 1-0 up after only 3 minutes and then carried on scoring to the end. Even now Management is making moves to address the situation before the next match.

Too big and too strong......

at least for wealdstone we were, this was a match to remember, weadlstone turned up at the wrong ground and then at the right ground 32 minutes late, the also turned up with a bunch of players that were undisciplined.

The dragons started this game playing awsome 2 touch football, finding spaces and troubling wealdstone. Within a few minutes the dragons had missed 2 chances and were made to pay. 15 minutes in and the dragons failed to pick up a player wide and as it did wealdstone crossed for a header to go in, 0-1 wealdstone. the dragons were baffled as to what had just happened and tried to push wealdstone out but as they they were playing against the wind it was only after anothe failed marking that saw a lucky 40 yeard shot with the help of the wind to go into the back of our goal. 0-2 wealdstone.

BUT as it happens they were playing a strong dragons team that was still missing 4 influencial players. as the dragons started to concentrate and got over the goals, a sub was made and Federico Pravettoni came on and seemed to have registered some earlier words with the manager. he battled hard to win balls and it payed off, soon he fed a thgrough ball into james abella whom managed to shake off his markers to make it 2-1. Soon after the dragons started to wake up and again a good play in the middle with Fred and Sam saw a through ball into Abella Again, he was forced wide into the goal line with the keeper tight on him but he somehow managed to squeeze the ball into theback of the net for 2-2.

The second half saw the dragons again start of well and then go flat, after a hard battle in the penalty area and calls for a penalty play was allowed to carry on and wealdstone scored from the advantage 2-3 wealdstone.

By this time the wealdstone discipline had gone out of the window with players swearing and constantly asking for fouls due to lack of strength and linesmans inability to know what a real off-side is.
the dragons by this time had had enough of wealdstones foul calling and foul conceeding, with 30 minutes on the clock played federico Received a cross chested it and with a sweet right foot made it 3-3 and game on. and on 34 minutes with a hard fought game behind him our man of the match Joshua Cooper fought off off one last attempt to find himself one on one with the keeper to make it 4-3 to the dragons.
With 2 minutes to go joshua was kicked twice  mid air just outside the box and after awarding and the game finished.

Good strong game that some weak teams are unable to face ,when it comes to a strong dragon it is what it is ''a fire breathing dragon''

St Andrews 2 KDFC 2

St Andrews are current league leaders and by this display they show why they are capable of being top.But on the day the dragons showed how much quality and fight their players have in them. We started off well and with our two new additions in Sam and Tosin we looked bright. In the first minute we went close, but with st Andrews good passing we found ourselves defending.St Andrews scored first when a miss hit from their player turned into a tap in.

The dragons held for a bit until Jean Francois who is our normal goalkeeper was given the chance to play up front, Jean who is 6ft 1’ and has the speed of a gazelle made it 1-1 when he battled well to slot it home.A while after St Andrews made it 2-1 when they broke down the wing and caught us off guard. The first half finished 2-1 and a few words of advice were given to the dragons to start battling for every ball and win them in the middle of the park.In the second half we made sure we were on top of st Andrews, but asst Andrews dropped most of their players to their own half we had some difficulties in breaking them. It was an even half and the dragons kept creating chances and coming close.

Tosin won a ball 1 yard on side shot and scored only for the ref to call it off side. A while after jean had a goal disallowed , James abella hit the bar from 5 yards as the ball bubbled in front of him. But with our defence looking bright with Curtis, Patrick, James Spooner & Emanuel sam we made sure it was not going to be a St Andrews party. Emmanuel sam won a vital tackle outside the area to play Federico who played Jean through on goal to make it 2-2 and spoil St Andrews day.

Man of the match was Patrick Collas who played at centre back and battled until he chipped his tooth.

As far as cheating goes this was daylight robbery at the highest scale. After our last encounter with heathrow there were sour grapes from the manager as he thought every decision for off-side was right, and this time he had the chance to give at least 50 off-sides against the dragons in a pitch too small for 5-a-side.There was not 1 game in the last 10 years I have coached that I have seen this level of cheating. No matter how hard the dragons tried to get infront of goal it was always offside.

Even in their own half, compared to the 3 offsides they were given against heathrow including 1 goal that was allowed even though some home supporters agreed. The dragons finished the first half 1-0 down and after some hard talk to forget the cheating and get on with it we went 1-1 after Federico Pravettoni made sure the ball crossed the line, we soon after went 2-1 up when Joshua Cooper rounded off the keeper.

But despite many offsides we created a couple of chances when allowed near the goal from corners, we conceded 2 goals even though 1 was a blatant offside. Words being passed on from the opposition players who confirmed their managers had planned to fix the match was enough to put the dragons in a bad spirit and down ambition of ever winning the game.

We stopped trying to play with 20 minutes to go as it was pointless to even try and run as the match was already planned from the start. Man of the match was the home referee as he played the whole game with his whistle and allowed countless of fouls go.

Cooper’s Terminal 5 on Heathrow This was a show piece from Josh Coopers which showed Heathrow how to get a terminal 5 even with protest. Despite the park keeper not being able to find the nets last minute the dragons under 15’s got the first game at St Marks this season underway. Our opposition was Heathrow club whom had from the time they got to the ground had something to say, first they didn’t want to use their yellow kit but wanted to use their blue kit, then they refused to play unless dog ‘wrongdoing’ on the pitch  was removed. Finally the match was underway and the dragons looked good and dangerous,

Derrick was making his debut and looked good in CM. Within 12 minutes the dragons played a through ball and much to the heathrow’s managers dodgy offside call we scored (3 had been given till then) when james abella who came from behind everyone slotted past the keeper, then a pattern started to grow and heathrow’s manager kept putting his flag up faster then a wild west cowboy, a few words exchanged and the manager was unhappy. We scored again when James abella again came from the back to out sprint everyone to make it 2-0. Heathrow managed to get a goal in from a good set of passes(their only set) but the dragons where in a mood to score and so was Joshua Cooper, after james abella was through on goal the keeper came out of his area to take him on, james shot rebounded off the keeper and went as far as the halfway line where Joshua was, he from the half way line lobbed the keeper as he sprinted back. 3-1 heathrow’s manager then threw is dummy out of the pram and left the line dutie when a free kick was given for his keeper holding the ball for 10 seconds but the dragons sportingly gave the ball back. heathrow got one back before half time 3-2.

In the second half was a much different story and the manager returned to the line still calling for off sides in total about 17 times (which explains heathrows good goal difference). The Dragons came out of the Den looking bright and fresh, within two minutes Joshua scored the 4-2 and from a well worked corner karris found the back of the net.Heathrow scored after Jean decided not to grab an easy ball to make it 5-3, but then we had Joshua cooper in a bullish mood, with some strong fights with a frail back 4 he managed to lob the keeper from outside the area for 6-3, then through for 7-3 and finally take on two players and round the keeper for 8-3.

Eat your shirt QPR for letting him go.Despite the score heathrow had a good bunch of players with their n.10 & n.6 aswell as central midfielder looking bright for the team. The only difference was the style of football as 1980 style met 2007. offside calls and stick biggest players at the front.

KDFC 3 St Andrews 4

The Dragons started this game on the back foot, 20 players signed and only 12 could make the match.

We started slow and let st Andrews get on top of us very early in the game, in the first 15 minutes they camped on our half creating a few threats and stretching our makeshift defence. They soon made it 1.0 when Jean failed to pick up a simple ball to let their player stick a foot to it. The dragons carried on trying to play football but failed to do the simple things on wining balls in the air and tightening the opposition, with this St Andrews managed to make it 2-0. But the dragons had started playing some football and hard work from our sleeping midfielders we played the ball through to james abella who out sprinted just about the everyone and everything to make it 2-1 at half time.

In the second half we started playing with a bit more spirit and managed to put St Andrews under pressure coming close a few times, we managed to get it back to 2-2 with james abella again being the scorer as st Andrews again failed to keep up pace.

Not too long after St Andrews made it 3-2 and we gave our new goalkeeper his debut and brought Jean into striker, Jean managed to come close 3 times most of them slipping in front of goal or failing to hit it early, but late into the game he scored to make it 3-3 and a very frustrated st Andrews were not up to going into extra time, so with 30 seconds left in the game they managed to pick up 2 unmarked players on the far post to make it 4-3.

It was again an off day for the dragons who have so much potential to turn into a brilliant team. Hard work and commitment will prove to be just what the dragons need.

Broadwater utd 4 KDFC 0

We walked into broadwater farm on a cold afternoon after having to
re-arrange the kick off time. We had thought kick off was 10.30 and
only at 11.30pm the previous night did we realize it was 2pm, so after frantic calls and texts we managed to get the players to come later
then 9am scheduled. We never managed to get on top of this game, broadwater were not necessarily i good team, the dragons were a
poor team on the day.  Not being able to pick up simple balls and feed our strikers of a very much needed pass meant we were always on
the back foot.

our only real star player on the day was Hassan Osman who is our smallest member of the squad NEVER did stop running or battling for every ball, at times hassan would be getting the ball off 3 players
whilst his team mates stood around watching him.

All in all we did not play our best and with a couple of mistakes broadwater punished us. we did play a bit better in the second half
with a couple of good chances. being 1-0 down in the first half and
then pressuring them early in the second half to put broadwaters defenders and manager under pressure.

Man of the match was hassan osman with his battling spirit.

KDFC 2 North Greenford United 2

Greenford came into the game looking like a decent, they were top of
the table having scored 38 goals in 6 matches. The dragons have so
far the best defence in the league  having let in 9 goals and were not about to let Greenford run riot in our own home, yes they had a good team but so did the dragons who were missing a few players.

Greenford with their organised defence and quick counter attack caused our defence to drop deep and dig into extra tackles, having Emmanuel drop back into centre back again was a joy to watch, he tackled with ease and made them look average, our whole defence includinh Karris and mohammed where having a fantastic afternoon,
but with a few pushes up Greenford managed to win a corner and
from this they scored as a scramble in the area found its way into
the net until then Jean was having some good saves to keep us in
with a shout.

The second half was more dragons way of playing, once again they were asked to get an early goal to get the chance to put Greenford under pressure and after 10 minutes we won a free kick 35 yards
out which Emmanuel Sam (instructed by Luke to take it) took, he managed to squeeze through the bar beating 2 men on the line. The Dragons started playing good football finding space from through
ball down the middle of the pitch. Only a lapse of concentration
saw Greenford get a lucky goal as the midfield failed to pick up a
ball slowly travelling down the middle. 2-1 for Greenford who had
not seen much of our goal in the second half were now thinking
about going home with 3 points, little did they know they were playing
an inform dragons team that can turn a game in the blink of an eye,
and that they did as a though ball found Douglas St Louis who is
playing the type of football premiership strikers would be proud of
to score for 2-2 and make a very unhappy Greenford coach claim
they should have won the game.

The dragons had more then enough chances to bury Greenford
deep in their tracks but failed most by 2 inches.Man of the match
was Hassan Osman for his fighting spirit and determination.

Yeading 0 KDFC 4

On a bright Sunday morning we encountered a strong Yeading side
with tall players and fast forwards on the semi Professional pitch of Yeading FC. Like semi professional both teams played.

From the off the dragons pressed yeading, and with our free flowing football we came close on 5 minutes only for the ball to brush past
the post. 10 minutes into the game we worked yeading from the
centre of midfield, but as yeading tried the offside trap we managed
to get a through ball  on to  Emmanuel Sam who coolly converted
the 1-0.

We carried on playing good football and using our wings well, and
with Miles Spooner always looking dangerous we gave yeading
and their spectators some good football to watch.

On 30 minutes we again broke the yeading defence which had
some really massive players for Douglas St Louis to score. We
finished the first half with yeading trying their best but coming close
only a couple of times.

At half time we made a point of asking for an early goal to kill off yeadings hopes of a come back… and just as you ask, this bunch
of boys deliver and 10 minutes in we broke yeading with a goal from man of the match Josh Cooper who had terrorised Yeading all day.
But the opposition would not lay down and came strong at us
causing us to drop and defend coners. Only a couple of outstanding saves from Jean Francois kept yeading at bay. We had brought on James Abella whom with his pace could not be caught by anyone,
he scored a clear goal but yeading’s manager had thought 3-0 was enough and put his flag up, but we did not let it get to us and james abella scored his Birthday goal 5 minutes before the end, he was tenacious  in a battle with yeading’s giant defender and came off
better to score. End result was good from both teams as yeading showed enough character to keep fighting.

League Cup: Ruislip Manor 0 - 11 KDFC

Another cup game another 3 round await us as we seem to be
doing well for the first time in cup games.Ruislip mentioned just
before KO that they only had 9 players and we sportingly asked
our players not to go full on and take it easy whilst making sure we
did play good standard football, after all we also had our goalkeeper missing due to illness.

In the first half we finished the game 7-0 which could have been 15
as we had most of our players only shooting with their left feet to practice. In the second half we played up hill and managed to change and give players more chances also Ruislip had now put on an
extra player who turned up late due to the change of times (should
have been early if anything). We carried on playing and with a good football mood we managed to score 4 more goals and also missed another 20 chances.

Goal scorers:  Josh Cooper 2, Douglas St Louis 2, Miles Spooner 1, James Abella 1, Michael Orouhou 1, Karris Moore 1, Mohammed Rachi 1, Emmanuel Sam 1, Own Goal 1.

KDFC 3 Wealdstone 0

Second round of the Middlesex cup game and we encountered an opposition that was as much aggressive and as foul mouthed as you will ever see. Wealdstone’s game plane was pure and simple, stick
your hand up when the ball goes out of play and ask for everything even when you definitely know its not yours. But they encountered a dragons team that are playing good football and can match
aggression whilst not going down the dirty level.

In the first ten minutes we found ourselves under pressure with Wealdstone attacking down the right wing and using a lot of pace.
But we soon settled and passed the ball around creating chances
and breaking away, giving little away.

After 30 minutes we found ourselves ahead when Miles Spooner
was fed the ball to cut in from the left, he shot against the keeper
who failed to hold the ball, he picked up again and slid it to Joshua Cooper whom made no mistake into the back of the net.

The second half saw Wealdstone go over the top and over
aggressive, it seemed they had been told to kick out and elbow and
slap and shout for every ball even when they kicked it out with no opposition in sight. The dragons were not about to be put in a corner (nobody put the dragons in a corner) and no thanks to some
decisions that were being missed we found ourselves 2-0 up when
a through ball to Douglas St Louis saw him lob the out coming eeper.
Our third goal came from a scramble in the box as 2 shots saved
and cleared off the line met Joshua Cooper who netted is second
goal of the match.

Over all we played well and a very delirious Wealdstone thought
they deserved to win the game, but we all know the dragons either win or they loose and we must accept both with no argument.

Man of the match was Douglas St Louis for.

Harrow St Marys 1 KDFC 7

> And we are off… Our main rivals last season were given a show
of football and shown that the dragons can keep on beating them
time and time again and management words were eaten as the St Mary’s manager had mentioned last season they would beat us this season. The dragons were off the mark with a team that looked
fresh and strong, and within minutes Douglas St Louis out sprinted
the defence from a through ball to make it 1-0.

The dragons dominated the whole game and won much needed balls
in the centre of the park and defence with the back 3 of Patrick, Mohammed & Karris holding firm. We looked comfortable. Not to long
had passed and the dragons were 2-0 up when Emmanuel Sam from
25 yards coolly placed the ball in the top right corner. Harrow tried
their best but the dragons had long come out of their Den and made
sure it was protected well, soon the dragons were 3-0 with Josh Cooper taking on the defence and placing it well in the back of the net.

The Dragons style of football was 2nd  to none with the link up
at the front and the centre of midfield being tight we finished the first half with great movement and pass.At half time we made a point of asking for a 2nd half early goal and we were not disappointed when Joshua was fed a ball via Federico to make it 4-0. harrow got a goal back after some amazing saves from Jean Francois to try keep the
ball out from corners ended in a scramble going in. 2 minutes later
after a chip into the centre of the goal area found Emmanuel Sam on
side he made it 5-1 to much of harrow st mary’s managers disgust
and argument, seemed to have resulted in him being booked.

We decided to bring BIG Jean out of goal to play as a striker, he was
not going to disappoint, 2minutes out he picked the ball up 40 yards
out found a gap to go pass the defence and in a solo run scored to make it 6-1. five minutes later Michael put a through ball on to Regan
on the right wing, who fed the ball low on to Jeans feet to make it 7-1. Our team over all played well but a very lucky harrow could count themselves lucky for not conceding double figures.

Man of the match could have been any of our 14 players for the
team effort but on the day Miles Spooner playing on the left seemed
to have inspired a lot of the work being done. Well done again boys.

> The dragons are adjusting to a different league and it is not very different from the dragons style of football. We met an omega side
that was in everyway similar to the dragons, good football, good
players and good attitude. We started this game attacking and
pressing omga into making mistakes at the back which worked very
well but only missed the finishing touch. IN the first half both Omega
and the dragons came close to scoring with the dragons having a
few more chances.

The first half finished 0-0 with both teams in need of a good team
talk. In the second half the dragons started well and with a change
in midfield seemed more dagerous and it payed off after 10 minutes when a ball through met James Abella who slotted it into the middle
of the net. By this stage both keepers were having amazing saves
and pulling out all stops.

With some good refereeing from the home sides appointed official
which is very rare to see, both teams were having chances and Omegas Number 12 which is an amazing maestro to his team
managed to pick out a free man on the right for him to make it 1-1.
theh dragons dopped their guard when they failed to shut down a
free man on a corner to make it 2-1.

There was nothing in the game between both teams and a draw
would have been a fair result for both if given in the first half. We
must say that a very welcoming omega team were the luckier side
on the day.

League Cup Victory: Hayes Gate 1 KDFC 3

> The dragons turned the tables around against hayes. This time we played on a very small pitch and with a more compact game the
dragons could actually press Hayes. From the off the dragons set
up camp in the Hayes half, pressing them constantly and came
close a few times. Our midfield were holding on to play and with
only a few mistakes we were without a doubt the most dangerous team. It was only with the help of the linesman that Hayes had not conceed at least a couple of clear goals which were disallowed for offside (again).

After 32 minutes of football and with one rare push
up front Hayes got a goal out of nothing, and to show that chances
must be converted and for the remaining first half Hayes pressured
us. With a few management words and a couple of subs we
reshuffled the centre of midfield. We started off bright and looked
on top of Hayes which worked well and within 5 minutes we made
it 1-1 when Douglas following a throw in met the ball in the middle to score. 3 minutes later the Dragons went 2-1 up as a James Spooner strike was too much for the Hayes keeper, the game was by this
time going the dragons way, but with some extra work as the home referee was not giving anything Dragons way and a few more
offsides were called. After a debatable free-kick to Hayes our
keeper was told to be replaced or sent-off and the dragons had to
draft in a make-shift keeper in Michael Orouhou.

This was a risky choice, as there were still 20 minutes of the game
left. But little did we know that michael was a brilliant keeper, Hayes
pressed and had many chances with Michael having to make top
corner saves and goal line clearences. By the added 10 minutes
and despite calls from the dragons to the amount of time added on
(15 minutes at least) the dragons wrapped up the game with a goal
to make it 3-1 through Pat. Hayes did not have their hunting call this week but were still over aggressive and with a few parents calling
for their players to kick at Dragons and knee them could be heard on
the touch line. at the final whistle players shook hands but some of
the parental behaviour would have been more suitable for the
Jeremy Kyle show.

COME ON DRAGONS

> The U15's lost 2-4 away to Hayes Gate in an overly aggressive game where the Hayes Gate tribal chant of "Hunt Like A Pack" perplexed the Dragons who were under the impression that they had turned up to play football. At half time Hayes were leading 2-0. The Dragons lifted their game in the second half and peppered the Hayes goal but were only rewarded with 2 goals - as were Hayes.

> The U15's beat Hanworth Villa 6-3  at Wormwood Scrubbs in the first round of the Middlesex Cup. The Dragons dominated the first half with"awesome 2 touch football" which resulted in 3 goals. Hanworth trooped out of the pavilion determined to get back into the game and pounced on Dragon mistakes to make it at 3-3 full time and so it was on to extra time. The fitter stronger Dragons decided it was time to win and powered in three goals to make it 6-3. On to the second Round.
